  • Remote/Work from home opportunity - Open to candidates in QLD, WA, NSW and VIC
  • Multiple positions available within our Home Claims team
  • 12 month contract opportunities available starting on 4th March 2024

Your duties & responsibilities

  • Review and proactively manage allocated claims within Service Level Agreements and in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate with the insured, policyholders, and other relevant parties to gather necessary documentation and information related to the claim.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, addressing customer enquiries, concerns and requests in a timely manner.
  • Interpret policy coverage, and determine if coverage applies to claims submitted, escalating issues as needed.

We believe in setting our employees up for success, which is why we provide 6 weeks of training. Our training program is conducted virtually so you can gain all the knowledge you need to excel in your role. 

The start date for these roles is 4th March 2024.

Your knowledge & experience 

  • Previous experience in a Contact Centre/Claims role is essential
  • Home claims experience highly desirable with bonus points for storm/catastrophe trained applicants
  • Strong telephony skills, including active listening to assess customer needs quickly and provide solutions proactively
  • Experience with the claims management software, ClaimCenter 
  • Strong understanding of Customer Service ethics
  • Excellent time-management skills in order to prioritise and manage multiple claims simultaneously
