YOUR ROLE
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you’ll manage complex claims end to end and effectively execute and maximise negotiated settlement opportunities.
You’ll be operating in a fast-paced environment with customers that are experiencing major life events. High level of communication, displaying empathy and the ability to be resilient is an absolute must. In return you’ll be part of an engaging team that make a difference.
This permanent full-time opportunity offers hybrid working conditions that support a mix of working from home and office.
Your IAG journey commences with a comprehensive 6 week office based training. With our offices located nationally you will have your choice of base location: Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Sydney or Melbourne City.
You’ll need to be available Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.00pm. This is a 37.5 hour a week rostered system between the hours of 8am and 8pm EST
Please note: To work from home, you’ll need high speed internet connection and a private home office set up.
ABOUT YOU
To be success you’ll demonstrate the following:
• Experience to effectively deal with customers and diffuse conflict situations
• Capability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to actively listen and problem solve effectively
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships
• Tech-savvy and confident using multiple systems and platforms simultaneously
• Understanding and sound knowledge of claims management and settlement is advantageous
