Manage a portfolio of Complex Claims in accordance with our Best-in-Class customer service. Adhere to our policies and procedures, ensuring the most cost- effective and timely outcomes are achieved.
Provide technical expertise as well as to assist in the mentoring of claims peers within the claims team.
What you’ll do
- Determine appropriate contract coverage, including indemnity, legal liability, and quantum issues
- Appoint, instruct, and liaise with service providers including solicitors, brokers, investigators, and loss adjusters
- Pro-actively manage bodily injury claims in line with our best-in-class service expectations
- Act as the subject matter expert for the immediate team in area of historical abuse claims
- Engage and work with internal stakeholders to provide insights and guidance with respect ongoing management of historical abuse claims.
What you’ll bring
- Strong emotional resilience
- Extensive experience managing a portfolio of liability claims
- Experience in managing historical abuse insurance claims – highly regarded
- Degree in Law or similar discipline - highly regarded
