Your new opportunity
Reporting to the Manager Home Case Management, you will have a fantastic opportunity to utilise your existing claims knowledge and experience to manage complex building claims including any escalations through providing the highest quality of services to our members and working closely with your new team members – teamwork is critical to this role.
You will have the ability to make recommendations for process or cost improvement and participate in making effective change.
As an important member of our team, you will:
· Establish and maintain effective, professional relationships with internal and external partners ensuring the interests of RAA are always priority.
· Deliver exceptional member service and end to end claims case management
· Manage complex, large, or unusual claims to achieve great outcomes for our Members and RAA wherever possible, and in compliance with all relevant acts, guidelines, process, and quality standards.
· Engage and liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders in the negotiation, progress, and settlement of claims
· Ensure communication and sharing of key information is maintained across all stakeholders throughout the claim.
About you
You will be a confident and passionate self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a high performing culture. We are also looking for:
· Amazing team player skills with the ability to work independently
· Proven ability to provide excellent quality of work to our members, including effective decision making
· ANZIIF Insurance qualifications are highly regarded.
· Strong working experience within General Insurance Home Claims
· Sound knowledge of Home Building Insurance processes, procedures, and guidelines, together with knowledge of the General Insurance Code of Practice, Privacy Principles, and required legislative requirements arising from relevant Acts.
Your patience, commitment to member service and strong communication skills, coupled with your excellent organisational ability and flair for building strong working relationships will see you succeed in this role. Additionally, your ability to problem solve, identify areas for improvement, and implement change, will add further to your success.
