CTP Technical Claims Specialist

About the Role 

Join our dynamic team as a CTP Technical Claims Specialist at Youi! You'll have the freedom to make impactful technical decisions and devise innovative strategies while championing best practices in personal injury and claims handling. Work closely with our energetic third-party claims management provider daily, ensuring smooth operations and nurturing a collaborative atmosphere. 

We're on the lookout for candidates who are passionate about CTP case management and possess a comprehensive understanding of current legislation, regulations, compliance, and dispute resolution. This is a hybrid role based at our serviced office in Adelaide.  

Key priorities:  

• Technical support/oversight of Youi’s CTP claims management processes and decisions (statutory benefit and common law claims). 

• Monitoring of claims reserving and risk management in claims handling. 

• Knowledge and application of relevant legislation and regulation. 

• Oversight of claims disputes and complaints  

• Qualitative reviews and analysis of performance and improvement opportunities. 

• Provision of mentoring, and training as required, contributing your expertise to develop capabilities within the claims team. 

About You 

You should ideally: 

• Possess qualifications in personal injury claims management (highly desirable). 

• Have experience in legal studies/law (desirable). 

• Demonstrate proficiency in handling CTP claims (with at least 3 years' experience as a general indicator). 

• Be familiar with current regulatory and legislative requirements relevant to the CTP scheme. 

• Exhibit exceptional technical skills. 

• Possess a strong understanding of CTP claims management, processes, and procedures. 

• Have knowledge of claims practices across various CTP jurisdictions, which would be advantageous.
