What your new job looks like

  • Day to day responsibility for resource allocation and management of team members performance, recruitment, coaching and mentoring, growth and development
  • Management of all claims triaged to your Team, ensuring adherence to required SLAs, optimising the performance of your Client Team including effective workflow planning, management and delivery
  • Supporting the National Claims Service Manager on the delivery of key strategic initiatives and projects, as required
  • Following national workflow processes and collaboration to optimise CHU claims performance
  • Provide strategic input into the technical claims function, including identifying and executing business improvement initiatives
  • When required, provide technical claims advice 
  • Responsible to ensure delivery of a "Concierge" claims service on every claim (in accordance with company standards and GICOP).
  • Conducting regular audits and undertaking appropriate reviews
  • Effectively manage any first tier consumer complaints that may occur

We'd love to meet you 

Especially if you can talk to us about your: 

  • Extensive General Insurance claims experience, knowledge of claims operations and understanding of quality service standards
  • Considerable Leadership experience gained in a variety of roles
  • Proven experience in managing virtual teams/dispersed teams geographically
  • Proven experience in delivering change management within organisations, including the ability to provide inspirational and situational leadership
  • Proven ability to build and maintain high performing and highly engaged teams through your positive and patient style
  • Strong problem solving and ability to think analytically
  • Comprehensive experience in dealing with loss assessors, repairers, brokers, strata managers etc
  • Management of claims delivery
