Permanent part-time position (36.5 hours per fortnight)Salary from $26,706 (includes superannuation)Allowances and OvertimeCouncil offers a wide range of benefits such as salary packaging (including novated motor vehicle leasing and remote area housing benefits), health and wellbeing programs and employee vaccinations to employees.As part of the Department of Recreation and Open Spaces, as the Cleaner, you will clean offices, public amenities and other buildings / facilities.Reporting to Manager of Recreation and Open Spaces, you will:Carry out all cleaning duties as required in the listing for each particular work site procedure and event that may occur from time to time replenish toilet paper, hand towels, soap and disinfectant blocks in all toilets , washrooms, kitchen areas and storerooms, as required to ensure that these items are well stocked.Sweep and remove rubbish from adjacent external areas to maintain a clean and tidy state, including paths, walkways, gardens, verandahs and entrance areas including the removal of cobwebs and management of graffiti.Perform minor maintenance work and report major damage and / or defects to buildings, fixtures and furniture to the supervisor or relevant site manager.
