As the Mid-Western Region continues to grow and prosper at a steady rate, Council now has an exciting opportunity for a Part-time Housekeeping Attendant/Cleaner to facilitate and directly support the efficient operation of Caravan Parks by ensuring the rooms and facilities on the site are clean and presented in an orderly manner.
Key Accountabilities
- Clean rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met (including remove expired food from fridges and disinfect equipment and supplies)
- Ensure all appliances are clean and in working order
- Empty bins and transport waste to appropriate areas
- Replenish supplies in rooms and other areas (including clean linen, towels and toilet items)
- Observe precautions required to protect the site and guest/resident property and report damage, theft and found articles to the Park Manager
- Keep storage areas well stocked, clean and tidy
- Dust and polish furniture and equipment
- Sweep, scrub, wax or polish floors using brooms, mops or powered scrubbing and waxing machines
- Wash windows, walls, ceilings and wooden surfaces as necessary
- Report any maintenance or service requirements to the Park Manager
- Assist with stock take of housekeeping stock and amenities
- Ensure all common areas are kept in a clean and tidy state
- Any other duties as assigned by management
To be successful in this role you will have

- Knowledge of workplace health and safety (WHS) responsibilities and a commitment to attending WHS training
The fortnightly salary range being offered for the position of Part-time Housekeeping Attendant/Cleaner is $1731 - $1944 gross per fortnight (dependent on skills, qualifications and experience) plus superannuation. The rostered working days are Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
