About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to support the OnTRAC and Connexion programs for some of the world’s leading automotive brands.
You will be enabling global automotive manufacturers to harness data insights, improving asset utilisation amongst their Dealer and Customer bases, including for their exciting EV line-ups.
As a Business Analyst at Connexion, you play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our Product Management and Development teams. Your primary mission is to decipher business ideas and convert them into clear, concise technical requirements that align with our strategic goals, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
The role is Melbourne-based, with flexible working from home policy.
What you will be doing
- Mapping, analyzing and documenting business processes and projects.
- Engage with both domestic and international stakeholders, capturing requirements in the EPIC/User Stories format.
- Utilise Agile tools like JIRA and Confluence proficiently and monitor the Definition of Done (DoD) before work initiation.
- Grasp our Software Development Lifecycle, integrating technical concepts into daily tasks.
- Serve as the primary touchpoint for technological issues, facilitating problem resolution and coordinating with relevant teams.
- Collaborate intensively with Product Management to curate and prioritize a product backlog based on business value and ROI.
- Analyse data rigorously, employing insights to guide decisions and influence stakeholders.
You are someone with
- Four years of experience working as a Business Analyst in a technology-focused environment, with demonstrated proficiency in Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- A comprehensive grasp of industry standards and internal company policies.
- Exceptional customer-centric mindset.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to critically evaluate complex business problems and propose effective solutions.
- Experience with Atlassian Suite of products (Jira, Atlas, Jira Product Discovery),
- Experience with Data Visualization tools such as AWS Quicksight, Tableau or PowerBI.
- Experience with Database technologies such as MongoDB, AWS Athena, AWS DynamoDB,
- Excellent teamwork skills with the capacity to operate with minimal oversight.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate are highly beneficial.
