SalaryQueensland Academy for Science, Mathematics and Technology is a selective entry school, located within four kilometres of Brisbane City centre. The Academy opened in January 2007 and works in partnership with a range of universities, including the University of Queensland, in nurturing highly capable students in achieving their potential as future leaders in a science specialist school environment.
We are looking for an experienced Cleaner to become part of our school cleaning team. The successful individual must show a high level capability and standard for this role.

About the Role
As the Cleaner, you will:
- Contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the site by providing a high level of cleaning.
- Ensure that the duties prescribed for the position are completed to an acceptable standard as determined by
their supervisor, in accordance with the approved school cleaning program.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning windows, pictures, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, glass doors and cupboards.
- Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities and sick bays.
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
- Cobweb and mildew control, utilising extendable equipment as necessary.
- Cleaning of concrete, bitumen, asphalt and paved surfaces.
- Disposal of rubbish and litter control including removal of material from drains and gutters between and/or surrounding buildings.
