Overview

The Opportunity

Due to growth within the team, a new opportunity exists for a Client Insights Lead to join Gallagher Bassett’s driven Sales and Client Insights team.  The Client Insights team is accountable for delivering Client Insights, performance reporting, and administration services to the sales and client services division in order to grow and retain the business in a compliant and sustainable way.

This opportunity will see you work closely with the Head of Client Insights, using your technical analytic and data visualisation skills to inform and deliver the broader Client Insights strategy and initiatives stream. You will build and maintain the Client Insights asset catalogue ensuring assets developed are scalable and can be leveraged across multiple clients.


How you'll make an impact

Additionally, you will:

  • Work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to help uncover insights and develop analytical data stories
  • Develop and execute database queries
  • Validate the accuracy of data outputs
  • Responsible for the analysis, design, and development of Client facing data visualisation products
  • Govern the pipeline of Client Insights projects and overseeing workflows for the Client Insights team
  • Elevate the capability of the Client Insights team through constructive feedback and mentoring
  • Build and gather requirements of data dashboards
  • Represent GB to clients and other stakeholders, collaborating to understand and formulate solutions to meet both the client and GB’s needs
  • Where required, act as delegate for Head of Client Insights for internal and external engagements
  • Collaborate and provide SME advice for the delivery of tender submissions, pitches and retention meetings for key clients and prospects

About you

We are seeking an exceptional candidate who will have:

  • 3-5 years’ experience utilising PowerBI or similar tools (i.e., Tableaux) to derive insights, and formulate recommendations to support effective decision making
  • Thorough understanding of data and database technologies
  • Demonstrated experience in relationship management, including the ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders as a trusted advisor
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage a range of stakeholders, and actively listen and respond to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present to senior stakeholders and effectively articulate the offering of the Client Insights group and the role of Client Insights in wider business strategy
  • Experience with implementing and using other data preparation and analytics tools such Alteryx, Qlik Sense, MicroStrategy etc
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Marketing, or other relevant discipline
