The Role
This is a permanent part-time position, working approximately 20-25 hours a week. You will be working alongside an experienced mortgage broker, delivering exceptional customer service and following up on client enquiries. The role requires high attention to detail, speedy delivery and professional client interaction. You will need to be able to prioritise well and manage your daily schedule to ensure deadlines are met.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Liaising with our Clients, Lenders and referral partners (Real Estate etc).
- Guiding clients through the loan application process, while gathering and processing the appropriate documents.
- Processing applications from broker handover to loan approval and post settlement.
- Understanding the lender policy attached to the product chosen for the client.
- Performing data entry into CRM systems & using computer software and applications.
- Assisting brokers with tasks such as discharges, pricing, policy, and servicing.
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience in a broker assistant/banking/finance or conveyancing role.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Demonstrate a strong client focus with a positive, can-do attitude
- Shows a strong desire to know the “why” behind day to day operations and the broking industry
- Excellent communication skills and dedication to setting realistic client expectations
- Data driven, with a strong ability to collect and process client information.
- Tech Savvy - able to navigate new software and applications, such as Apply Online and MyCRM.
Nice to Haves:
- Cert IV or Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking is desirable but not required.
