We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinical Care Manager to lead a clinical team in providing exceptional care for residents in a 50-bed aged care facility. As a key member of the leadership team, the Clinical Care Manager will play a critical role in ensuring high standards of clinical care, fostering a person-centered approach, and creating a supportive and enriching environment for both residents and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strong clinical leadership, overseeing the delivery of high-quality care to residents with diverse needs.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement clinical care plans that reflect best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and support clinical staff, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and skill mix.
- Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for nursing and care staff.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical interventions, adjusting plans as necessary.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits of clinical documentation and care practices, addressing areas for improvement.
- Build positive relationships with residents and their families, ensuring their involvement in the care planning process.
- Address and resolve concerns or inquiries related to clinical care in a timely and empathetic manner.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration between clinical staff, support services, and other departments within the facility.
Salary & benefits:
- Up to $130k base salary, depending on qualification & experience
- Up to $15,900 salary packaging
- 17.5% leave loading
- Flexible working hours - generally Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- significant clinical and leadership experience
- In-depth knowledge of Aged Care regulations, standards, and best practices
- Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
- Up to date immunisations, including COVID-19
- National Police Check
