As we continue to grow our business, we are searching for enthusiastic Clinical & Allied Health team Rostering Officer to join our busy Allied Health Team. This fast paced and highly rewarding role will see you supporting our Nurses and AlliedHealth Team to meet our consumer's needs.
About the Role
Skills & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a scheduling with experience in health or social care advantageous
- Supporting management with various operational tasks including rostering of Clinical & Allied Health Staff
- Ability to liaise and work in a calm, clear and concise manner with medical staff
- Exceptional sense of customer service
- Highly organised and flexible work ethic, with high attention to detail
- Ability to schedule and manage tight timeframes along with the capability to prioritise urgent tasks
- Proven ability to problem solve, and "think outside the square"
- Demonstrated understanding and application of medical rostering practices
- Availability and flexibility to work between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
- Clinical rostering/scheduling/workforce planning experience and a strong administraton background
- Flexibility to adapt to a constantly changing environment and a willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of rostering principles and HR practices, particularly Clinical Staff, highly desirable.
- A high level of computer literacy and be comfortable with a range of software packages.
- A demonstrated genuine commitment to helping older ageing people retain their independence so they can remain at home in the community.
- Highly developed analytical and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads.
What you will be doing
- Ensuring consumer services are scheduled in a timely manner, liaising with relevant stakeholders to ensure efficient use of resources and in accordance with our consumer’s needs.
- Providing timely notification to consumers in relation to alterations to schedules/Rosters where necessary.
- Working closely with other stakeholders to ensure annual/sick/other leave is effectively managed to ensure consumers are not impacted.
- Achieving results in a skilled, diverse, and engaged manner that positively responds to change and deadlines.
- Proactively investigating issues and working collaboratively to provide effective solutions.
- Performing administration and reporting activities, to ensuring compliance with regulatory and organisational requirements.
- Internal project to improve efficiencies within the clinical roster that will provide better outcomes to our consumers
