Salary: $58.74 per hour + 10% allowance + superannuation
The Company
IPA is partnering with a leading Victorian-based Aged Care provider who currently has 12 locations across the state, and several more in development. They provide the highest level of care in their current facilities and are innovating across the care system by developing multi-purpose facilities which offer integrated medical centres, gym, and wellness facilities.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Care Manager to join the team at a newly renovated Aged Care Facility in Whittlesea. This 180 bed facility has the charm of a rural setting, with easy access to local shops and services. The major redevelopment includes the introduction of a medical centre to service both residents and the community, a fully-equipped cafe, and cinema.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for reviewing and managing care plans, overseeing the delivery of Clinical Care to residents, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and update care plans in consultation with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Provide clinical leadership and support to the care team, including Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided and implement improvements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with Aged Care standards, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote resident well-being and quality of life.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse qualification with current AHPRA registration.
- Significant experience in Aged Care, with demonstrated leadership and management skills.
- Sound clinical knowledge and understanding of Aged Care standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends as required.
- Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses)
