About the Opportunity:
Kinder Caring is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to become a Clinical Manager (Clinical Care Coordinator) for our Newcastle and Hunter-based clients in Aged Care, Disability Support and Attendant Care (complex physical/mental).
As a Clinical Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that Kinder Caring staff provide quality, safe, and exceptional care and service to our clients through local clinical governance, supervision and ongoing training & development of Care Managers and field staff, and fostering a positive company culture.

The role is currently 3 days per week (20-25 hours), or an equivalent number of hours over the working week, with scope to increase if desired.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage all aspects of Clinical Care for our community care recipients, including assessments, care planning and the ongoing evaluation of client care.
- Case management of high-care clients, including clients with complex care needs, palliative care, disability care and 24-hour care.
- Perform clinical nursing services such as wound care, medication management, injections, and assessments.
- Contribute to local business development, including with strategic business partners and referral sources to drive growth in the business.
- Ensure compliance with Kinder Caring’s policies, procedures, and processes.
- Participate in policy development, continuous improvement, quality, and audit activities.
- Provide training and clinical support to care workers to ensure effective and safe service delivery to Kinder Caring clients.
- Investigate and action all incidents and complaints as per company guidelines.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Extensive experience and knowledge in clinical needs assessment with the elderly or people with disabilities
- Experience/knowledge of the Government Home Care Packages/Aged Care Standards and the NDIS
- Case Management experience with high-care clients
- Superior interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
- Commitment to excellent customer service
- Valid Australian driver's license and access to a reliable car with comprehensive insurance
- Current First Aid, CPR Certificate, NDIS Worker and National Police Check
The salary package is negotiable and will include a business profit share and a car allowance.
