It remains one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities.About the roleThe Manager, Clinical Costing is a management position within the Performance Monitoring, Systems Improvement and Innovation Unit with strategic, policy development, oversight and advisory responsibility for providing leadership and coordination of all matters relating to Clinical Costing and Activity Based Management and analytics to ensure SLHD is well positioned to achieve optimal health outcomes within funding allocation.The position is expected to work closely with SLHD Performance Unit, SLHD Finance and relevant teams at all service levels within the LHD, as well as, driving a strategic approach to ABM performance analysis and benchmarking and leadership of a team to ensure high quality DNR submission, analytics, performance reporting and auditing to achieve organisational goals.We are looking for someone who has…

• Tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management, Accounting, Information Technology, Statistical Analysis or other related field or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience and skills in Clinical Costing and activity based management and their applications to health service delivery.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of NSW Health Patient costing particularly those relating to funding and costing; an ability to analyse costing data and application of the costing information in financial and budget management.
