It is a permanent part-time opportunity (16 hours per fortnight).ABOUT THE ROLEThe Clinical Educator position is a hands-on role that will help provide education support to clinical staff and care for patients by being involved in department orientation, in-servicing, clinical competency program within the department as well as excellent clinical care to patients.REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- At least 3 years of experience in a midwifery setting;
- Experience in the coordination and delivery of education;
- An understanding of the theories and principles of adult learning;
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to engage and motivate staff within a multi-disciplinary team;
- Knowledge of policies, procedures, and legislative requirements;
- Holds a current Certificate IV TAE40116 or Assessors Skills Set;
- Sound computer skills (MS Word).
