Join us to transform youth mental health through innovative research at the Brain and Mind Centre,Base salary $108,557 - $118,216 + 17% superannuation (pro-rata to 0.6 FTE)Part-time (0.6 FTE), fixed term contract until May 2025About the opportunityHeadspace Camperdown in The Brain and Mind Centre at the University of Sydney is a world-leading research facility dedicated to understanding and improving brain and mental health. Through cutting-edge research and innovative approaches, the centre aims to transform mental health care and policy, benefiting individuals and communities.Join our multidisciplinary team as a Clinical Facilitator and Clinician, providing crucial support to the Youth Mental Health and Technology team. Supporting clinical trials, coordinating care, and collaborating with clinicians, academics, and service providers to advance mental health research and services.Your key responsibilities will be to:support working clinicians and clinical services to meet research objectivesunderstand and test the impacts of interventions in the mental health contextprovide clinical support during all stages of research protocolspresent clinical research outcomes to various audiences and young peoplecollect and analyse research data, prepare statistical reportsassist with writing ethics applications and preparing publication documentationsupport digital technology implementation and youth models of care.Provide assessment and treatment to young people aged 12-25 years in the headspace model.About youAre you ready to leverage your expertise in youth mental health research and make a real impact in an innovative and collaborative environment? This could be your next opportunity!masters qualifications in psychology, social work, counselling, or mental health nursing and/or relevant experienceregistration with the governing association that aligns with your tertiary qualificationsskills in data analysis, using statistical tools, and reporting on research findingsexperience in a clinical and research environment or delivering/coordinating youth mental health careexcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsability to work independently and as part of a team, exercising sound judgementexperience in coordinating and facilitating workshops across clinical and academic disciplines.Sponsorship / work rights for AustraliaPlease note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
