The Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced senior nurse to join the Clinical Practice Improvement team as a Clinical Governance Forms Coordinatorat Northern Health.
Our team manages Accreditation across Northern Health and manages PROMPT where all Northern Health Policies, Procedures, Forms and Brochures are held and managed. This role will primarily be responsible for the Clinical Governance of Northern Health forms, but the role will also be required to have expert knowledge of Policies and Procedures and provide cover for leave for the Policy and Procedure Coordinator.
This is a Part Time Grade 5 Clinical Nurse Consultant (ZA8) position working 7 days per fortnight on an ongoing basis.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Nursing or equivalent
- At least 5 years - experience in a senior role
- An excellent knowledge of quality, risk and patient safety in a healthcare organisation
- Knowledge and use of PROMPT
- Proven ability to work at a senior level and communicate effectively with all levels of staff
- Sound computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Proven ability to work autonomously
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
