Role Overview
This position is tailor-made for a Registered Nurse with exceptional clinical expertise and sharp critical analysis skills. We're seeking someone with a curious and proactive mindset, particularly crucial for thoroughly understanding the intricacies of any incident. Your proactive approach is highly valued in ensuring a comprehensive and insightful perspective.
The Clinical Governance Manager (CGM) collaborates closely with key stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of Kalyra’s Clinical Governance Framework. Responsibilities include overseeing clinical compliance, managing risks, and ensuring consistent systems and care across Residential Aged Care Homes. They also identify and recommend improvements for significant clinical risks. Chairing the Operational Clinical Governance Committee and Infection Control Committee, the CGM ensures effective infection control procedures. The role involves providing advice and support, including reviewing policies and procedures related to clinical assessment and documentation.
About the Person
The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of the Australian Classification (AN-ACC), and robust clinical assessment skills. They must possess comprehensive knowledge of the Aged Care industry, including relevant legislation. Effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with proficiency in using the My Aged Care Portal and Microsoft Office Suite. Leadership experience in nursing and familiarity with residential care quality systems are valued qualifications.
Apart from this we ask that you have the following:
- AHPRA Registration for Registered Nurses
- NDIS Worker Check
- Reliable vehicle and current drivers license
- National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
- 3 x COVID-19 vaccinations
- Influenza 2023 vaccination
