Paediatric Dermatologist
Location: Queensland Children's Hospital, Brisbane, Queensland
We are seeking a dedicated Paediatric Dermatologist to join our growing team of dermatologists, nurse practitioners, registrars and clinical nurses. Here are the details:
Position Overview:
- Role: Paediatric Dermatologist
- Employment Type: Up to 0.5 FTE (32 hours per fortnight VMO/40 hours per fortnight SMO) temporary
- Positions Available:
- Clinical Lead Dermatologist
- General Dermatologists
- VMO (Visiting Medical Officer) Positions:
- Requirement to demonstrate ongoing private practice costs
- Alternative SMO employment options
- Team Focus:
- Join our established paediatric dermatology team
- Provide tertiary-level care to patients aged 0 to 16 years from across Queensland
Qualifications and Experience:
- Board-certified or eligible in Dermatology
- Passion for paediatric dermatology
- Strong clinical skills and commitment to evidence-based practice
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage dermatological conditions in children and adolescents
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
- Contribute to teaching and training initiatives
- Participate in research and quality improvement projects
