Clinical Lead

Selection Criteria 

1. Demonstrated leadership abilities to effectively coordinate complex projects, setting goals, delegating tasks, and ensuring successful project outcomes.
2. Demonstrated skills and experience in managing all stages of the project cycle (planning, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation).
3. Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated professional experience in project management or Clinical Leadership.
4. Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and influence.
5. Experience in quality assurance and improvement to improve patient and staff experience.
6. Experience in facilitation /group work.
7. Knowledge of change management principles to lead and implement changes in organizational culture and practices that enhance the overall experience.

COVID-19 Vaccination Compliancy 
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course (2 doses) of a Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccine (except for the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine which is approved by the TGA as a single dose primary course). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.

Additional information

• This is a temporary role up to 30 June 2025. 
• Please note the selection process will include a range of comparative assessment techniques to assist in determining your suitability for the role.
• If you are Current NSW Health staff and are looking for opportunity of Secondment, you must have your manager’s approval prior to expressing interest.
• The positions are open to internal NSW Health permanent employees, or temporary employees who have been employed as part of a merit based selection process for more than 3 months. 
  • Ministry of Health staff are part of the Public Service Group and employed under Government Sector Employment Act 2013 (NSW), and are not employees of NSW Health and would not be eligible to apply for internally advertised roles.
