The Clinical Lead will join our Youth Outreach Project (YOP) team and drive youth mental health service delivery to remote communities in NSW. The vacancy is ongoing and will work Full Time, 75 hours per fortnight, but part time hours may be considered for the right candidate.
The role may be based in Dubbo, NSW, or any of the 10 communities within the service footprint: Condobolin, Coonamble, Gulargambone, Warren, Nyngan, Bourke, Brewarrina, Walgett, Collarenebri or Lightning Ridge.
What will I do?
Provide Clinical Leadership and guidance to the YOP team across the service footprint
Oversee and coordinate the delivery of clinical services
Ensure day-to-day clinical work is carried out to effectively meet the needs of clients
Contribute to the development of evidence-based and innovative clinical services
Proactively manage referrals and demand for clinical services
Work collaboratively with headspace Dubbo, the senior clinical team, and remotely located staff
What do I need?
Tertiary qualification in nursing or an allied health discipline including social work, psychology, speech pathology or occupational therapy
Full registration with AHPRA, or full membership with SPA or AASW
Advanced level of clinical skills and demonstrated experience in a range of mental health service settings
Experience in service development and maintaining continuous quality improvement.
Proven ability in the leadership of multidisciplinary teams, including clinical supervision and review.
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, and proven ability to develop and maintain strong working relations in a highly productive environment.
Unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence and willingness to travel across the service footprint as required.
