Deliver, as a member of a multidisciplinary team, specialist cardiac Clinical Measurements services.

About the role

  • Deliver, as a member of a multidisciplinary team, specialist cardiac Clinical Measurements services involving complex acute caseloads to the Metro North Hospital and Health Service (Northern Cluster) in accordance with contemporary clinical practice standards.
  • Contribute through clinical expertise and the use of established specialised techniques to the development of professional competence in more than one cardiac scientific modality in Clinical Measurements in the Cardiac Sciences Unit, Metro North Hospital and Health Service (Northern Cluster).

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Specialist-level knowledge, expertise and skills in contemporary cardiac Clinical Measurements practice standards or an advanced level of knowledge, expertise and skills in two or more cardiac Clinical Measurements.
  • Ability to provide clinical advice regarding professional standards and clinical service development.
  • Ability to manage service delivery within cardiac Clinical Measurements which require specialist clinical practice, across the Metro North Hospital and Health Service (Northern Cluster)
  • Ability to lead change through quality and service improvement activities and provide supervision of Clinical Measurements Scientists and technicians.
  • Ability to apply evidence-based principles to facilitate novel, complex cardiac Clinical Measurements clinical decisions.
  • Respect – demonstrates interpersonal savvy, manages conflict appropriately, communicates effectively and balances the needs of all stakeholders with utmost respect to all people at all times
