Undertake a range of functions and tasks associated with the routine maintenance and daily operation of the school farm, including tasks requiring skills obtained through training and experience.Period of AppointmentASAP until 31 January 2025Hours per fortnight44 hours per fortnightEssential RequirementsThe Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013 requires persons undertaking work in a regulated activity to be registered. A regulated activity is a child related service or activity defined in the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Regulations 2014. This registration must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of this may be checked at any time during employment.
- Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status - Employment).
- A current drivers licence.
- Appropriate trade qualifications or relevant skills obtained through training and experience would be an advantage.
- Extensive practical experience in farm operations, preferably under Tasmanian conditions.
- A current Chem Cert Certificate and First Aid Certificate or the ability to obtain
- a statement addressing the selection criteria;
- a resume that contains relevant personal details and work history.
