The unit is women and family centred care, reflecting the needs of each woman within a safe and sustainable quality system. All women have access to evidenced based, culturally competent maternity care in a range of settings close to where they live. Appropriately trained and qualified maternity health professionals provide continuous or shared maternity care to women who meet the service capability of Gladstone Hospital. About the role: A Clinical Midwife is a Registered Midwife who is accountable at an advanced level for the coordination of clinical practice delivered in a clinical specialty.
