Position Summary

Barwon Health’s McKellar Centre is a recently upgraded facility located only minutes from the centre of Geelong. The Inpatient Rehabilitation Centre is a 100 bed facility offering rehabilitation in Stroke, Trauma, orthopaedic and amputee streams as well as Geriatric evaluation and management and Palliative Care. The McKellar Centre offers a range of professional aged care services. It is situated on a vibrant community asset with parkland surrounds and incorporates state of the art equipment.
About the role
We are currently seeking a Clinical Neuropsychologist to work in our inpatient neuropsychology rehabilitation service. This is an opportunity to develop contemporary evidence-based psychology services for rehabilitation clients within the clinical setting with a strong focus on client-centred intervention. We can tailor the role to suit experienced clinicians but would also welcome applications from early career Neuropsychologists including graduates wanting to commence the registrar program. We provide a supportive environment including 1:1 and peer supervision from our large team of Neuropsychologists and Clinical Psychologists.

Essential: Masters or Doctoral level qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology
Essential: Proven ability to conduct neuropsychological assessments and the capacity to confidently and effectively communicate these findings
Essential: Proven ability to provide evidence based interventions for people with neuropsychological impairments
Essential: Current Victorian Driver's Licence
Essential: Registered as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
