The Opportunity:
Grade 2 Clinical Neuropsychologist Inpatient and Rotating Cover – Permanent Part-time
This is a Grade 2 (0.4 EFT, 32 hours per fortnight) permanent position.
Are you a Clinical Neuropsychologist interested in gaining more experience across a diverse range of inpatient and outpatient settings?
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Clinical Neuropsychologist to join Northern Health and its dynamic Psychology Department. This flexible role will provide valued opportunities to provide psychological services across a range of Northern Health inpatient and outpatient services, including acute, rehabilitation, geriatric evaluation management, dementia behaviour support, CDAMS clinics, and community therapy services.
You would join a cohesive team of passionate, dedicated and progressive psychologists working together to provide high quality psychological services. Working in the Northern Health Psychology Department offers exceptional opportunities for personal and professional development with support from an outstanding workforce.
The role will involve:
- Primarily working across acute and subacute inpatient services
- Providing evidence-based neuropsychological assessment and interventions
- Multidisciplinary collaboration and clinical consultation
- Providing clinical backfill cover for staff on leave
To be successful in this role you will have:
- An enthusiastic, adaptable and collaborative style
- Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in public health
