Wakefield Orthopaedic Clinic is a busy, long standing privately owned orthopaedic practice located in Calvary Adelaide Hospital. The Clinic has 18 surgeons and over 30 administrative staff.
One of our busy orthopaedic surgeons, who manages ADFRAC (Adelaide Fracture Clinic) is looking for a part time (2-3 days a week, flexible hours) dynamic RN/EN Practice Nurse who has experience with a main focus around dressings and plasters, wound care, and early post-operative patient management.
Duties include:
Maintaining Clinical documents
Wound care
Applying and removing plaster casts (training can be arranged if necessary for this)
Early post-operative patient reviews
Stock management for the clinical room

The successful applicant will have AHPRA Registration, a current First Aid & CPR certificate, Immunization status, Medical Indemnity, will demonstrate excellent communication and patient care, computer skills (Genie preferred), demonstrated ability to work independently, great time management skills, police clearance and child related employment screening and a professional manner and presentation.
