Western Health is seeking a higly motivated Breast Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) who will act as a clinical expert in the provision of Breast Care and a resource person to patients, families and staff across Western Health.
About the Service:
The Western Health Breast Service provides inpatient, outpatient and ambulatory care to patients presenting to Western Health. The service provides specialist assessment & treatment for patients with malignant & benign breast conditions, participates in regulatory reporting of data, quality and research projects and quality improvement activities.
The Breast Care Nurses work in partnership with the medical and allied health staff in providing quality supportive care to patients being assessed & treated for breast conditions.
The Breast service is established under the Surgery Program within the Perioperative & Critical Care Services Division.
