About the role:
This West Hume Regional Continence Clinical Nurse Consultant/ Clinical Team Leader (RC CNC/CTL) is an advanced Clinical leadership Position and will provide a capacity building role, including a clinical consultancy service for the West Hume Region. The CNC/CTL will also provide leadership, clinical expertise and strategic and operational direction and support for the Regional Continence Service (RCS) in all aspects of continence management practice.
In this role you will partner with the Manager of Home Nursing Services and play a critical role in providing expert advice and leadership to the Regional Continence Service
To be considered for this role the successful candidate will have:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of five years’ experience with a broad-based general nursing experience across a variety of practice settings, with a scope of practice to encompass continence management.
- Graduate Diploma or Graduate Certificate in continence management or related field.
- Commitment to enrol (and completion of) in a Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia approved program of study at Master’s level or equivalent.
- Demonstrate that experience, skills and knowledge you must assist to achieve the clinical domains of practice of Clinical consultation, Supporting Systems, Education, Leadership and Research.
Desirable:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Nurse Practitioner
- Completion of a Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia approved program of study at Master’s level. Preparing for Nurse Practitioner endorsement
- Hold RED State-wide Equipment Program (SWEP) prescribing credentials for children and adults
