Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services are looking for a Clinical Nurse Consultant to join their team.The purpose of this role is to provide clinical expertise and consultancy through advanced clinical leadership relevant to the speciality of Early Psychosis mental health. The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) provides direct and indirect care as required and works in collaboration with the Team Leader and mental health care teams to support the clinical unit in provision of safe quality healthcare through exemplary clinical nursing standards of practice for the specialty of mental health.

About the Role
- Maintain high level of interpersonal and negotiation skills to inform and train the healthcare team of clinical practice updates and research findings within the mental health area.
- Consult with and provide expert nursing advice to achieve integrated care within health services across the continuum of care.
- Demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge, skills and competence in Early Psychosis mental health nursing practice and theory; linking care to key objectives and performance indicators.
