What you will be doing:
A rare opportunity is available to join the team in the Cancer Care Centre for a Clinical Nurse Educator working in a permanent part time position - 4 days per week
The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) is required to identify learning needs and to plan, develop, deliver and evaluate clinical education programs at in the Cancer Centre Outpatients area.
The provision of direct clinical care by the CNE should be for the purpose of providing clinical education to other employees. Direct clinical care shall be limited to emergency circumstances only.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa
Selection Criteria to be addressed: * Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)

• Relevant clinical/education post registration qualification
• Recent extensive clinical experience deemed appropriate by the selection panel
• Demonstrated ability to identify learning needs and to plan, develop, deliver and evaluate education.
• Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills including the ability to work in a consultative manner.
• Demonstrated previous experience in clinical teaching, mentoring and preceptorship.
• Demonstrated capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
• Commitment to working with NMUM to establish and maintain a learning environment that values and encourages learning and reflective practice.
