About the Role
The Eastern Health Learning and Teaching Directorate seek a senior nurse for the position of Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in providing leadership related to clinical change and development, education and support of learners and staff within the Specialty Medicine Ward 3 North at Maroondah Hospital. We foster a collaborative and compassionate team and strive to achieve great patient outcomes and experiences. About You
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Current Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) registration with AHPRA
- Postgraduate qualification in a critical care or other relevant clinical specialty
- A minimum three years of relevant clinical practice, with recent experience nursing at a senior level (CNS or above)
- A strong committment to high quality care and positive patient outcomes
- Experience and expertise in mentoring and supervising novice clinicians
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with advanced skills in critical thinking, problem solving, organisation and prioritisation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work both autonomously and as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficient computer literacy
- Experience with performance management and conflict resolution (desirable)
