What you'll be doing
To provide for the coordination, delivery and evaluation of Clinical Nurse education (including programs) at the ward/unit level. Such education may include orientation and/or transitioning for new nursing staff, undergraduate and casual nurses as well as meeting the ongoing educational needs of existing nursing staff. The CNE will work in collaboration with the Principal Nurse Educator and Nurse Unit Manager and wider hospital team to develop and implement clinical education programs relevant to the specialties and basic nursing competencies.
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine (2 doses) which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Please provide proof of vaccination if available.

Selection Criteria * Registered nurse with a current licence to practice from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and current NSW Driver's License.
- Holds relevant clinical or education post registration qualifications with extensive relevant clinical experience or such education and clinical experience deemed appropriate by the employer.
- Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of teaching and learning in the health care environment (adult learning principles).
