- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) and a post-graduate qualification in a specialty related to Aged Care nursing and/or Education
- Recent aged care nursing working experience and recent teaching/CNE experience
- Understanding of teaching and learning in the health care environment, and adult learning principles, including the design, delivery and evaluation of education programs
- Effective communication through the use of information technology, written, verbal and interpersonal skills
