- Coordinate/facilitate orientation and induction for new staff.
- Facilitate, mentor and provide education for all staff in the work unit.
- Act as a resource person for staff- ensuring educational materials available and obtaining relevant materials when needed.
- Coordinate, monitor and collect information on all mandatory training, required training and skill based competencies for all staff members in conjunction with NUM
- Coordinate and deliver specific education programs within the ward area and other areas of the hospital and required (including orientation).
- Coordinate and support staff, which mentor and facilitate students.
- Identify and communicate to NUM staff members that have poor knowledge, skills and/or attitude.

- Clinical Nurse – current APHRA registration
- At least 5 years clinical experience in relevant work area – Anaesthetics and/or Endoscopy desirable.
- Willingness to be a positive team member with an attitude to support others and problem solve efficiently
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of the ACORN Standards, relevant legislation and best practice
- Post graduate qualifications in a relevant specialty area or working towards
