ABOUT THE POSITION
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing a standard of care according to the individual level of experience and education maintaining high-quality nursing care within a safe environment;
- Developing and utilising strategies that encourage an atmosphere conducive to effective leadership and advanced communication skills;
- Providing leadership for the implementation of service and quality improvement initiatives; participating in team meetings and providing clinical presentations to support the professional development of staff; championing National Standards in healthcare;
- Collaborating in planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care in partnership with patients and families in decision-making regarding care provision promoting best practice in delivering quality outcomes.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Current Registration with AHPRA;
- At least 5 years of ICU Cardio-Thoracic nursing experience;
- Advanced communication and leadership skills;
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing);
- Post Graduate qualification in Critical Care-ICU;
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality patient care;
- Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.

Notably, the Angiography suite operates as a highly active unit, performing more than 4,120 coronary and vascular procedures each year, and its services continue to expand. The Cath Labs within this suite offer a wide range of specialized services, including coronary angiograms, percutaneous coronary intervention, electrophysiology with 3D mapping ablations, FFR and IVUS procedures, cardiac implantable devices, vascular interventions, and complex cases involving structural heart issues such as PFOs, LAAOs, TAVI, and Mitral Valve prosthetic implantations.
