Form of workNambour Day Surgery is a stand alone Women's Health Facility fully licensed with Queensland Health and certified with the NSQHSS. We have 1 operating theatre and a 4 bay recovery unit, and CSSD.
We care currently seeking a permanent part -time Nurse Manager to work a minimum of 6 days a fortnight, Tuesday-Friday and at least one other to be agreed upon. All applicants must be currently registered with AHPRA to practice in Australia.
To be successful in this position you will be a registered nurse with:
- 3-5 years perioperative experience including clinical co-ordination, department and staff management.
- a working understanding of Queensland Health licensing requirements
- a sound working knowledge of Quality Management System and the NSQHSS
- experience with auditing and reporting systems
- Strong computer skills
- Effective communication skills - verbal and written
- ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
