The Acute Care Team at the Mackay Community Health Centre is seeking applications for a Clinical Nurse (Mental Health Emergency) to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
- To provide an evidence-based standard of care by providing individual and holistic care, giving due consideration to the needs of the client, relatives and carers for the assessment, treatment, maintenance and support of people with Mental Health conditions.
- Effectively liaise, network and facilitate an integrated approach that is recovery focussed, evidence based across the continuum of care.
- Initiate and actively participate in quality improvement projects that facilitate the review and evaluation of the target service and associated processes.
About the Team
The Acute Care Team is the first point of contact to public Mental Health services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Team will undertake triage and may facilitate the referral of the consumer to a more appropriate internal and/or external service such as a community Mental Health team, an alcohol and drug service or primary health care.
