About the role
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to provide expert clinical knowledge and clinical care for consumers/patients with a variety of conditions and support the general function of unit through role modelling and application of the principles of contemporary evidence-based consumer/patient focused care, education, leadership and portfolio management. In addition, this role will provide support and direction to the Registered Nurse and other non-registered nursing personnel in more complex situations.

- Apply advanced clinical nursing expertise, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, to deliver a high standard of consumer/patient centred care.
- Demonstrate advanced clinical skills and problem-solving relevant to the care of consumer/patient within the Operating Rooms Level 4 & MPU.
- Practise collaboratively with the interprofessional health care team to promote the safety, security and personal integrity of individuals and groups.
- Support an evidence-based learning environment and participate in learning activities/opportunities for self and others.
- Utilise communication processes and systems which enhance consumer/patient care delivery and unit functioning.
