The Home Hill Health Service, is a 14-bed rural facility predominately providing aged care, rehabilitation and renal dialysis services to the local community.
An opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Nurse to join the Home Hill Health Service on a permanent part-time basis, working up to 56 hours per fortnight.Eligible health workers who make the move to work with us may receive up to $70,000 in incentive payments under Scheme 2 of the Queensland Health Workforce Attraction Incentive Scheme (conditions apply). About your opportunity:
Permanent part-time position available / Location: Home Hill
The Clinical Nurse will provide clinical expertise, support, and education to nursing staff within the Home Hill Hospital to ensure the provision of best practice and quality patient care. The Clinical Nurse is expected to apply critical thinking across all domains, which include provision of care, support of systems, education, research, and professional leadership. This position services a 14-bed rural facility comprising of medical, aged are, palliative and rehabilitation.
The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:
- Proven ability to comprehensively assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care at an advanced level within a complex environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with team members, patients and other stakeholders, including participation in relevant networks to achieve work unit outcomes.
- Ability to provide nursing leadership in the clinical and professional setting including the role modelling of effective communication and problem solving.
- Proven ability to use information and reporting systems appropriate to the position in order to achieve outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
- Proven ability to provide clinical education and support at an advanced level and demonstrate own professional development.

- Generous remuneration package value up to $97,476 p.a. comprising:
- Salary range of $54.44 to $58.30 p.h. (Nurse Grade 6, Band 1)

Requirements:
- Proof of qualification, registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
- Highly Desirable: Postgraduate qualifications relevant to the position or working towards a relevant qualification.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
