Southern Queensland Centre of Excellence Inala are looking for an experienced Clinical Nurse to join their team. The Southern Queensland Centre of Excellence (SQCoE) in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care is a Queensland Health service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Located in Inala, 18 km Southwest of Brisbane CBD. Our clinic is staffed by GPs, nurses, allied health, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workers and visiting medical specialists. The centre is positioned within the newly established Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Directorate.

About the Role
The Clinical Nurse (CN) role provides advanced clinical and problem-solving skills, expert planning, and coordination skills in the clinical management of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients/residents/clients with complex care needs, ensuring quality standards are met. This role works autonomously within the healthcare team structure and is pivotal in the planning, managing, and delivering of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health care in a General Practice setting. The CN provides clinical leadership for professional and clinical practice, education, and research. The role supports in management activities including portfolio responsibilities.
