About the role:
We are looking for a Clinical Nurse to provide oversight and ensure compliance in all areas of resident care as outlined in organisational policy. Provide a high level of clinical advice and education to Level 1 Registered Nurses and Disability Support Workers. Assess residents' care needs, develop relevant care strategies, and evaluate care plans.
About you:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Relevant post registration qualifications in a specialty area or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical nursing practice with an understanding of contemporary nursing theory and care documentation models
- Proven leadership skills and ability to engage and support RN's and Disability Support Workers
- Demonstrated knowledge of continuous quality improvement principles and aged care accreditation, and an ability to manage and implement significant administrative and clinical initiatives
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal, written, and verbal communication, and analytical and clinical research skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, supervise and direct within a multidisciplinary team
- Proven ability to effectively liaise with the care services team, residents and their relatives, and other health/aged care professionals
- Demonstrated proven ability in the use of Computers and technology including software such as the MS Office suite of applications.
- Ability and willingness to work within the Philosophies, Policies and Procedures of WMQ
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance held before commencing
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You' completed before starting
- Proof of Vaccination Status as required by Legislation, Health Directives or WMQ Policy throughout employment and prior to commencement.
- Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ policy
