Tell me more...The Clincial Nure provides best practise nursing care in the assessment and treatment of patients to promote, maintain and improve their health, functional ability, and quality of life. The CN reports to the DON via the CNC and provides professional support to the RN's and IHW's.
To be successful in this role you will have:

• Implement and monitor the organisation's quality standards, occupational health and safety policies, procedures and programs and provide clinical governance in the relevant work area.
• Provide nursing care to a group of recipients of Primary Healthcare Services across remote TCHHS.
• Act as a role model for registered nurses and unregulated and unregulated healthcare workers in the provision of holistic Primary Healthcare.

• Base salary comprising between $4,017 - $4,302 per fortnight
• Base salary comprising between $104,816 - $112,236 per annum
• Generous employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%)
• Salary packaging option to increase your take home pay

Requirements for the role:

• Demonstrate knowledge of relevant legislation including Health and Hospitals Network Act, Workplace Health and Safety Act, and Equal Employment Opportunity Legislation and other relevant legislation.
• Demonstrate knowledge and practice in the application of evidenced based clinical management, diagnostic investigation, and pharmacological management of patients in TCHHS.
• High level of communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult, liaise and negotiate with hospital and community health providers within the Torres Cape Hospital and Health Service and beyond.
