The Country Nursing & Midwifery incentive program is available to new and existing nurses and midwives - across a broad range of patient-facing roles - on fixed term or permanent contracts at 76 select locations. Eligible nurses and midwives can receive between $5,000 and $17,000 in support over 12 months.

About the REGION
About the OPPORTUNITY
A rewarding and interesting role where you will:
- Provide clinically appropriate service, leadership, education and consultancy to patients, and coordinate weekday clinic services to the local communities including rural/remote locations.
- Coordinate primary health care service delivery including immunisation services chronic disease management, health promotion and education for the community,
- Support access for visiting medical clinics and coordinate and participate in the on call after hour’s nursing emergency service.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Effective leadership skills (organisational, supervisory, caseload management and problem-solving skills)
- Extensive clinical experience including assessment skills, triage and emergency management skills, clinical problem solving and understanding of chronic disease management.
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of primary health care principles and programs.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a cross-cultural setting.
