Your Role in our Future
In this role, whilst your main responsibilities will be around providing excellent nursing care to heathy participants, you will also provide support to junior clinical staff ensuring clinical activities are carried out in line with study protocols and regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to apply their nursing skills and experience to a clinical research setting working with healthy participants and supporting our purpose of improving health and access to innovative medical therapies.
A full list of responsibilities can be found in the job description however some of your duties will include;
- Ensure clinical trial study protocols, regulations and good clinical practice guidelines are understood and applied appropriately.
- Collaborate with the Senior Research Nurse to ensure clinical trial tasks are allocated efficiently.
- Manage participant safety through sound judgement and decision making with respect to clinical care, protocols and medical instructions.
- Actively monitor and observe trial participants observing and managing adverse events and reactions in conjunction with Physicians
Conveniently located in Joondalup with access to parking, shifts will be offered on a casual basis and may include morning, afternoon and evening shifts Monday - Sunday including weekends.
Your Experience
The successful applicant will have a Tertiary qualification in nursing with AHPRA registration with demonstrated post-registration experience. Along with this, your application must also be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience;
- Demonstrated high level of professionalism and the ability to establish and maintain both internal and external relationships.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team and be self-motivated to work independently.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on quality.
- Proficient computer literacy with the ability to work across a range of different platforms
