ABOUT THE POSITION
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing a standard of care according to the individual level of experience and education maintaining high-quality nursing care within a safe environment;
- Developing and utilising strategies that encourage an atmosphere conducive to effective leadership and advanced communication skills;
- Delivering quality nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individual patient care
- Working in partnership with patients and families in decision-making regarding the provision of care promoting beneficial relationships
- Team Lead/ANUM cover as required;
- Supporting hospitals' commitment to quality improvement and achievement of National Safety and Quality Healthcare Standards (NSQHS) accreditation.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Current Registration with AHPRA;
- Post Graduate Certificate or higher in ICU-Critical Care Nursing;
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality patient care-specifically with Cardiothoracic experience;
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills;
- Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development;
- Flexible to work rotating shifts.

Notably, the Angiography suite operates as a highly active unit, performing more than 4,120 coronary and vascular procedures each year, and its services continue to expand. The Cath Labs within this suite offer a wide range of specialized services, including coronary angiograms, percutaneous coronary intervention, electrophysiology with 3D mapping ablations, FFR and IVUS procedures, cardiac implantable devices, vascular interventions, and complex cases involving structural heart issues such as PFOs, LAAOs, TAVI, and Mitral Valve prosthetic implantations.
