Position Profile:
The primary responsibility of the Clinical Nurse Specialist – Prostate Cancer is to work in partnership across all areas of the Health Service to improve the quality and continuity of care and support provided to clients diagnosed with Prostate Cancer across the continuum of care.
Key responsibilities include:
• Act as a Prostate Cancer resource person for staff and patients and their significant others across all WACHS Regions.
• Provides clinical Prostate Cancer nursing knowledge and care coordination across the organisation
• Demonstrates leadership and role modelling
• Promotes maintenance of clinical standard setting and monitoring, policy development and change management as required to improve the patient’s management.
